I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as a candidate for the position of Vice President of Support of Southwest Ohio AEYC.  I’m currently serving as the Interim President of the Southwest Ohio AEYC board.  I have worked in the field of Early Childhood Education for almost 15 years and currently serve as the Director of the Arlitt Child Development Center, the laboratory preschool on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.  Prior to my administrative role I taught in the preschool classroom for seven years.  I’ve also taught as an adjunct instructor in the University of Cincinnati’s Early Childhood Education program and have written content for Arlitt Instructional Media resources. I’ve served on the Cincinnati AEYC board for several years both as a member at large and as the Vice President of Support.  I’m excited to continue to lead our organization as we strive to advance our field and support educators, families, and young children.
